Watercolour Painting

Another medium with minimum hassle to consider. The beauty of watercolour lies in its luminosity and transparency effects. It is a medium that gives you the immediacy of expressing the thoughts and mood at the moment. It is easy to clean and no harsh chemicals are used. Relatively inexpensive to start with.

Acrylic

Acrylic paints are polymer paints, water soluble but dries permanent. It is a versatile medium, that can be diluted to create washes and or apply thick. A fast drying medium unlike oils if you like speed painting. It is also an easy medium to handle and mistakes can be easily rectified.

Mixed Media
Watercolour & Coloured Pencil Painting

Watercolour paints and coloured pencils complement each other tremendously well. A great art form to venture in if you are just starting out on watercolours or coloured pencils. If you find that watercolours too daunting to handle  or do not have much patience to complete a coloured pencil piece, this is the course for you.

Line & Wash

Much like watercolour, this artform has an immediacy and fastness to it. It allows the artist to have a quick rendition and record of the image. Great skill to have for outdoor sketching with the intrinsic illustrative style. Again, a clean, no fuss and no harsh chemicals to handle.

Coloured Pencil

Though often seen as a child's art medium, coloured pencils have come a long way as a medium into the fine art scene with artists producing fine art  pieces. Get to know the the different types of coloured pencils, the suitable type of papers and the techniques of coloured pencil art.

Graphite (Pencil)

Or simply put, pencil drawing. Pencil drawing is versatile and portable. At the very basic, you just need a pencil and paper! Learn some pencil techniques and art fundamentals like perspective, proportion and tonal studies, you will be able to produce wonderful pieces of art
